How to install an AI chatbot on your website

BazBots uses one embeddable script snippet. If your website platform lets you add a script tag, you can place the chatbot on your site without rebuilding the application.

Create and prepare your bot

Create a BazBots account, add a bot, enter the public website URL you want it to learn from, and let the initial crawl finish before installation.

Copy the installation snippet

Open the bot's installation area and copy its generated script tag. The embed token in that snippet connects the website widget to the correct bot.

Add the snippet to your website

Paste the script into the site-wide custom code or footer area provided by your CMS, website builder, or custom application. Publish the website so visitors can load it.

  • Use the exact generated snippet.
  • Install it once on pages where the chatbot should appear.
  • Open the published site and send a test message.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a developer to install BazBots?

Not usually. You need access to an area that accepts a script tag. A developer may be helpful if your website does not provide a custom-code setting.

Does installing the widget change my website content?

No. The snippet loads the BazBots chat widget; it does not rewrite the page content.

Can I update the bot after installation?

Yes. You can edit the bot and recrawl its website without replacing the existing embed snippet.
